The main challenges in Rollouts

Each county follows its own business processes, laws, currencies, social customs.
The requirement for each country should be analyzed toughly and took into attention during Rollout.
Rollout projects always require that the differences between the corporate-template and the solution to be implemented at a local subsidiary be distinguished.

We identify two major types of differences (or ‘gaps’):

Legal gaps – country-specific legal regulations, particularly in the financial, sales and HR areas.
Business gaps – each subsidiary may have its own business processes in place which are not included in the template (e.g. a unique import \export process) or other specific requirements which are not a direct result of legal regulations but are critical to the business.

Within same country people may speak different languages and follow different time zones.

The varying work ethics, perspectives, customs and language skills must be also taken into consideration when planning a rollout.

Traditionally the main issues are risen in the following areas:

Chart of accounts, financial accounting and reporting (Balance Sheet, Cash flow, P&L and etc.)

Tax accounting and reporting (VAT, profit tax and etc.)

Currencies and payments

Import and export operations

Obligatory printing forms and customer facing documents

Integration with web-services tax authorities (Electronic invoicing and etc.)

Global Implementation approach

The first stage of the Rollout project is the Fit&Gap process, which allows to diagnose gaps between the global template and local processes of the company, to prepare recommendations on how to solve them and reasonable assessment of the project implementation as a whole.

We define the scope, gather all needed information and essentially prepare to launch the project with your team.
